As an Authorized Reseller for all items sold and distributed through WeekendsEve sales channels, unless clearly stated otherwise, carry an implied guarantee and is eligible for the original manufacturer warranty. To receive warranty coverage, some products may need to be registered. In most cases, if product registration information will be found on the product page and/or on the complete Product Registration Page by manufacturer. In addition to all warranties, WeekendsEve offers a 45-day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Warranties vary by item and manufacturer, but some general guarantees include:
- Quality: The product received will be free of defects in material and workmanship
- Repair or Replace: Item(s) that do not meet manufacturer standards will be repaired or replaced at no additional cost to the customer
Due to the wide range of products and services offered by WeekendsEve, each product carries its own unique guarantee and general information can be found under the Warranty, Assembly, & Registration section on product pages. When selecting a product, the warranty type should fit your intended application. Warranties are generally broken into 3 main types:
- Home or Residential Warranty: Typically 30-days to 1-year and is suitable for light to moderate use
- Light Commercial Warranty: Typically 1-year or more and is suitable for moderate to regular
- Commercial Warranty: Typically longer than the general 1-year warranty and is suitable for continuous usage
Using products outside of their general or intended purpose voids all guarantee and warranty claims.
In some cases, warranties do not include cosmetic imperfections including dents or scratches. This is a case by case basis, and a warranty claim will need to be filed to determine the cause of the cosmetic defects.
Some products, including technology based products, may require the customer to register the product with the manufacturer directly. In those cases, a link will be displayed under the Warranty, Assembly, & Registration section on product pages. In those cases, its recommended to check the registration requirements prior to making the purchase.
How Do I Process A Warranty?
To process a warranty, a claim needs to be filed with the WeekendsEve Customer Support Team. A team member can be reached through the online chat or by email.
In order to process a warranty, both a Warranty Claim Form and Return Authorization (RMA) Form need to be completed and submitted to the WeekendsEve Customer Support Team. Its recommended to check product pages to ensure items are still under warranty before filing a claim. Some information you will be required to provide may include, but are not limited to:
- Order Receipt
- Name, Order Number, Order Date
- Images of Defective Product
Once all information is received, the support team will review and process the warranty which can take up to 15 business days. When a decision is made, an email notification will be sent out with information on the next steps. In the case a refund is requested, it may take an additional 10 business days to be issued from when the warranty is approved.
