The sport of football has grown from its humble highway roots with its popularity rapidly expanding internationally. Some argue one of the game's most progressive changes came with the legalization of forward passes and blocking - in turn creating the game we all know and love today. This expanded a teams offensive potential and began the journey of the mastering the pass by way of the ball. Nowadays quarterbacks are starting to develop skill sets from a much younger age. Although each governing body will determine the official regulation size football dimensions, here is a general size chart below:
