Multiple Shipments
Item quantity and/or size often determine whether an order requires multiple packages. Also, in some cases, shipping orders from multiple locations may be the fastest and most effective method of delivery. For orders with multiple packages, you can access shipment details by logging into your My Account, and/or an email will be sent to the account used at checkout. If an email address was not provided at checkout, the email associated with your customer account will be used. Common reasons for multiple packages, include but are not limited to:
Multiple Boxes:
To reduce handling time, protect product contents, and offer free ground shipping, some items or orders may ship in multiple boxes. Under normal circumstances, these will ship from the same carrier, where only one tracking number is needed to Track My Order in full.
Multiple Locations:
Item quantity and/or size may require orders ship in multiple packages. Also, in some cases, shipping your order multiple locations may be the fastest and most cost-effective method of delivery. Log in to My Account for updated tracking information.
Partial Fulfillment:
If the quantity ordered may exceed the current inventory amount, an email will be sent with options and instructions on how to proceed with the order. In most cases, the order can be sent in partial immediately, followed by a second shipment once the item(s) have been replenished. Confirmation will be required for these occurrences.
